In short
ConcreteCounts has no accounts, sign-ups or forms. The calculators run in your browser and the numbers you type are not sent to us. The site is funded by advertising from Google, which uses cookies as described below.
What is collected
- Calculator inputs stay in your browser. They appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a result; nothing is stored on our side.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider processes standard request information — IP address, browser type, pages requested — to deliver and protect the site.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used. It sets cookies and collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed and approximate location. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it does not set analytics cookies unless you agree.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.
Advertising and cookies
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Visitors from these regions see a consent message, provided by Google, before personalized ads or analytics cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that message. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.
US state privacy rights
Residents of some US states have rights to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Where required, an opt-out message is shown; you can also use the Google Ads Settings link above, or a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
